The following blog entry takes place between 8:46pm and 9:10pm!

I know, once again I haven't been updating this blog as much as I'd like to. Various things have been keeping me quite busy. I will be getting back to updating it on a bit more of a regular basis, even if some of the entries might be a little shorter than usual.

Lots of things have developed. About two weeks ago I was having a couple of days off from work, and so I went to do an elaborate writing marathon. I ended up writing "Night Terrors" in about four days, and now, brace yourselves, after I finished "Night Terrors" I started "The Adversary" at the same day. And I've set up my new personal record when I finished the first draft after two and a half days of non-stop writing. I was quite happy with how they had turned out, and after taking a couple of days before doing slight revisions, I had turned them in.

We're working toward the finale now. Episodes are in production up until 2.21, which will be the infamous "Catch 22". Originally the episode was shelved due to lack of time (it was supposed to be 2.11 originally), and we were having trouble working out the ending. After all catch 22 refers to a no-win-situation - so how do you get out of a no-win-situation? We're starting to figure it out, and while there's a chance most of our characters will survive this no-win-situation, it will come at a high price.

Vincent, our latest addition to the writing staff, has finished his first draft of the outline for "Aversion", the Tom/Enoly Story, which uses elements of a concept called Enoly Children Story. I'm going through the outline and will be adding some things here and there before Vincent will be starting the script. Meanwhile Joe has started work on the Aschen episode, tentatively titled "Uprising". Still waiting for Mike's first draft of "Amazing Grace". It should be done pretty soon, and I'm looking forward to seeing it.

On the 24 front, we're nine episodes into Season Five. I haven't seen last night's episode yet. I got in late from work, but it's on tape, waiting to be watched later tonight. Great season is all I can say. I've started adding to my soundtrack collection again, and while the majority of the at least fifty soundtracks (the original scores) I have are all in Germany, I've asked my mother to have them shipped over - I'll be paying for that. The latest additions are a Star Trek anniversary CD, containing music from various movies and TV shows; Star Trek 3 - The Search For Spock; Pirates of the Caribbean; and the original Batman soundtrack.

Now I'll have to wrap this up, as I'll be watching Boston Legal (William Shatner and James Spader are great). After that, I'll be watching last night's episode of 24. I'll also be grabbing some Blue Bell Ice Cream (if you're writing Stargate - no matter which series - you gotta love ice cream). I've gotten into trying out all sorts of new flavors. The latest one that I picked up yesterday is Chocolate Almond Marshmallow. I recommend it to everyone.

That's it for tonight. As promised I'll be blogging a bit more often. And I thought I'd just throw out that the premiere of all new episodes of Stargate: Horizon is now only four weeks away. I'm looking forward to seeing your reactions to the new episodes.
